Description
The MAIER Steel Plate Conveyor SPC is designed for continuous transport of heavyweight logs and other wooden materials to the downstream conveyor or directly into the machine. The material is usually loaded by grapple, upstream longitudinal or cross feeders. The conveyor is executed with welded trough and driven chains with specially formed reinforced steel plates.

Technical features
- Heavy-duty welded trough with reinforced supporting frame
- Heavy, special shaped wear-resistant steel plates with extra high section modulus, screwed for easy disassembly
- Steel plates glide on damped longitudinal beams, therefore the reinforced chains are only loaded by tension forces
- Steel plates glide on plastic slide rails to minimize friction and noise
- Reverse operation possible
